Dr. Ishan Shivanand is an international professor, researcher, philanthropist, visionary and a world-acclaimed expert on non-pharmaceutical  interventions for physical, mental and emotional well-being. 

HELPING GOOD PEOPLE BECOME BETTER” is the driving force that has led Dr. Ishan Shivanand to conduct thousands of sessions in over 17 countries, impacting more than 1,000,000 people, including an enthusiastic following of Mauritians. With his humorous, inspiring and engaging manner, he has become an icon of youth empowerment and is one of the most sought-after and regular invitees at esteemed universities, colleges, medical institutions, corporate organisations and media, including radio and television, as a mental health consultant, wellness coach and researcher.

Dr. Ishan Shivanand has delivered various sessions at various organisations globally.

Dr Ishan Shivanand’s employee and corporate wellness programs help with stress and burnout reduction among youth and professionals, physician burnout prevention, injury prevention for international sports athletes, and building mental resilience among military personnel and veterans. His programs have been scientifically proven to reverse anxiety, depression, and insomnia, and improve quality of life among 72-82% of test participants within 4-8 weeks of regular practice. These custom protocols have promoted healthy living in more than a million participants across 150 countries and been integrated into various government, healthcare, university, and corporate institutions worldwide.

Dr. Ishan Shivanand first came to Mauritius in 2009 and spent over 10 years improving the mental health of Mauritian citizens and focusing on youth empowerment through community-based outreach programmes, mindfulness, motivational, and empowerment sessions for the youth in educational institutions, as well as a series of ‘Science of Success’ workshops. During the past decade, Dr. Ishan Shivanand has single-handedly conducted over 15 in-person, 4-day stress release and management workshops, which saw the participation of more than 10,000 Mauritians.
