We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the School of Integrative Health and Wellness (SIHW) in Mauritius!
The inauguration ceremony, took place yesterday at the Caudan Arts Centre, in Port-Louis, Mauritius and was graced by the eminent presence of the Founder, Dr. Ishan Shivanand and Hon. Mrs Leela-Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, G.C.S.K, Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, who also delivered an insightful inaugural address and reiterated the Mauritian government’s commitment to the future of holistic education. Dr Ishan Shivanand highlighted the intrinsic link between the health and well-being of a country’s citizens and the holistic happiness index of the entire country. Under the guidance of Dr. Ishan Shivanand, the momentous event also featured an immersive demonstration of the protocols of the Resilience Training Programme (RTP) to be offered by the School, giving the guests and attendees a first-hand experience of their transformative potential.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mr Alan Ganoo, Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Hon. Mr Georges Pierre Lesjongard, Minister of Energy and Public Utilities and to all our stakeholders who made the event a resounding success!
